Driven by Story. Inspired by Heritage. Powered by Passion.
Fuel the Passion was born from one simple idea: to share the excitement, history, and emotion behind the cars we love, especially those wearing the Aston Martin wings. I’m Dan Thorpe, the creator behind the Fuel the Passion YouTube channel and website, and the proud owner of a 2019 Aston Martin Vantage in Ceramic Grey, better known across my content as the FTP Vantage, registration D7 FTP. This car isn’t just transport; it’s the heartbeat of the brand. It’s the hero asset in my videos, photos, thumbnails, designs, and the many adventures and stories that unfold along the way.
What started as a personal journey has evolved into a community-driven space celebrating Aston Martin heritage, car culture, and the experiences that come with being part of the automotive world.
Fuel the Passion is an independent Aston Martin storytelling platform founded by Dan Thorpe. Through long-form YouTube films, written feature articles, and weekly reports, Fuel the Passion documents Aston Martin ownership, heritage, events, and the people behind the cars, combining real-world experience with narrative-driven storytelling.

Why I Created Fuel the Passion
I founded Fuel the Passion to tell meaningful automotive stories, the kind that go beyond horsepower figures and spec sheets. I wanted to showcase the memories made on the road, the people you meet, the history you uncover, and the incredible places these cars take you.
As an active member of the Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC), I’m fortunate to experience events, tours, and heritage moments that many enthusiasts never get to see up close. My goal is to bring viewers and readers along with me: behind the scenes at major gatherings, inside important historic locations, and into the passenger seat for those unforgettable drives.
To me, being part of the Aston Martin community isn’t just about owning a car, it’s about belonging to a story that stretches back more than a century. Fuel the Passion is my way of capturing that story and sharing it with the world.
What My Content Covers & Will Cover In the Future
Although Aston Martin is the heart of the channel, my content branches far wider across the world of automotive passion. On the website and YouTube channel, you’ll find:

Because passion isn’t limited to one badge, it’s the whole culture that makes it special.
Cinematic Storytelling & Lifestyle Features
Where the subject matter allows, most videos aim to feel like a journey: gripping openings, emotional narration, and visuals that put you right in the moment.
