Driving My Aston Martin Vantage Back to Gaydon | HQ and Aston Martin Works Visit

In this video, I take my FTP Aston Martin Vantage down south for a very special two-day trip. After arriving at Horwood House and settling in for a two-night stay, the following morning I head to Aston Martin HQ, Gaydon, taking my own Vantage back to where it was created.

Although filming inside the factory was not permitted, I share the journey there and back, some carefully chosen exterior shots, and my honest reaction after an experience I never thought I would have. On day two, the journey continues to Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell, where I was there to film as part of the upcoming Vanquish 25th Anniversary video project in collaboration with Aston Martin Works, Aston Martin Owners Club and Aston Martin Heritage Trust. I only show a very limited glimpse here, as the full Vanquish story is still to come, but I do take a closer look at two very special cars: the Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation and the remarkable Valhalla.

Having seen several Valhallas in various specifications and at different stages of build during my Gaydon visit, it was especially nice to spend a little more time around one in person at Aston Martin Works. This film is therefore less about access, and more about the experience itself, the journey, the atmosphere, the significance of returning the car to Gaydon, and my reflections after two memorable days in the Aston Martin world.

If you enjoy thoughtful Aston Martin content rooted in ownership, heritage and real-world experience, I’d be delighted if you subscribed and joined me on the road to 5,000 subscribers by 1st January 2027 as part of the Driven by Passion campaign.

Thank you for watching. Taking my Vantage back to Gaydon was a genuinely special experience, and then to continue on to Aston Martin Works the following day made this a trip I'll remember for a very long time.

I would love to know what part of this video you enjoyed most; was it a glimpse of Aston Martin Works, the DB5 Goldfinger Continuation, or getting a closer look at the Valhalla?

A question for fellow owners and enthusiasts: if you could take one Aston Martin back to Gaydon or Newport Pagnell, which model would it be, and why?

As always, thanks for supporting Fuel the Passion, it's much appreciated.
