Aston Martin Motorsport Updates

The Fuel the Passion Motorsport Hub is an independent place to follow Aston Martin motorsport updates, race results, standings and race-weekend stories across the major championships where Aston Martin cars, teams and drivers are competing.

Covering Formula 1, the FIA World Endurance Championship, IMSA, GT World Challenge Europe, Michelin Le Mans Cup, International GT Open and selected Aston Martin customer racing stories, the hub brings together race calendars, countdowns, results, championship standings and FTP’s own weekly motorsport reporting in one place.

Fuel the Passion is not an official Aston Martin, Formula 1, FIA, WEC, IMSA or championship source. Instead, the Motorsport Hub offers independent Aston Martin-focused motorsport coverage for enthusiasts who want to follow the wider racing picture through one clear Aston Martin lens.

4th at Spa: Aston Martin Valkyrie Takes Its Best WEC Finish Yet

Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Hypercar programme delivered its strongest FIA World Endurance Championship result so far at the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, with the #007 Aston Martin THOR Team Valkyrie of Harry Tincknell and Tom Gamble finishing 4th overall.

The result was more than just a strong finishing position. The Valkyrie was only seconds away from the podium, with Tom Gamble passing the #7 Toyota in the closing laps to secure fourth.

There was also success in LMGT3, where the #27 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3 finished 2nd in class, making Spa a very encouraging weekend for Aston Martin’s WEC programme.
