Inside Blackthorn Racing at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 | Aston Martin Vantage GT3

Go behind the scenes with Blackthorn Racing at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed and get close to its battle-scarred #56 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, still carrying the damage, dirt and scars of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

Created in collaboration with Blackthorn Racing, this film includes an interview with team owner and racing driver Claude Bovet, who explains the car’s Écurie Écosse-inspired livery, its dramatic Spa story and the team’s ambitions for Le Mans. I also speak with Gordon Shedden before he drives the Vantage GT3 up the famous Goodwood Hill.

Along the way, discover Aston Martin’s latest road cars, the AMR25 Formula 1 car, Valkyrie, Valhalla, the rare AMB 001 Pro motorcycle and historic racing machinery inside Goodwood’s Drivers’ Lounge. My sincere thanks to Claude Bovet, Julien Draper and everyone at Blackthorn Racing for inviting Fuel the Passion into their world.

Seeing Blackthorn Racing’s Vantage GT3 before it was refurbished offered a rare glimpse of what completing the 24 Hours of Spa really demands from both car and team. Did seeing those battle scars and hearing Claude explain the incident behind them, change your perception of what it takes simply to finish a 24-hour endurance race?

Blackthorn also spoke about its greater ambition of reaching the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Would you like Fuel the Passion to continue following that journey and bring you further behind the scenes at future races?

A huge thank you to Claude, Julien and everyone at Blackthorn Racing for trusting FTP to tell this story. I look forward to reading your thoughts.👍
